Civilian Instructor

Ms. Kiersen Kerr

Kiersten Kerr became a Cadet at 117 Preston/Westphal RCACC in September of 2018. For four years, she was actively involved in various teams including the drill team, marksmanship team, orienteering team, and the corps band. During her time as a cadet, Kiersten was recognized for her service and achievements with the Army Cadet Service Medal, the Lord Strathcona Medal, and the Brigadier General (Ret'd) James "Jim" Bruce Memorial Award. 

  

Ms. Kerr completed the Fitness Sports Instructor summer training course. She also completed the regional expedition located in Mount Carelton, New Brunswick. Ms. Kerr ended her cadet career as Chief Warrant Officer and Regimental Sergeant Major of 117 Preston/Westphal RCACC. 

   

Currently, Ms. Kerr serves as a Civilian Instructor while her application to the Canadian Forces Reserve - Cadet Instructors Cadre processes. She is also a student at Mount Saint Vincent University in Bedford, where she studies Mathematics and Chemistry. In her other time, Ms. Kerr works as a leader for the Boys and Girls Club in Preston and works at McDonald’s as well.
